Cursebreaker | 63 - Finale Pt. 2: All You've Got

It all comes down to this, and it's life against death. The weave could cease to exist at any moment. Who you gonna call?
Tim / GM:

You move through a massive arched hallway. Wide open wooden doors, 2 stories tall, through which you can see a towering brass pipe organ. Ilya has her back to the party, and she turns to face you.

Speaker 2:

I step in front of Holly.

Maggie / Poppy:

Holly, tell up a tease, how's a good time for that moss? And she stuffs the moss in her in her ears. And then she's also going to look at Tibio and gesture to the bandolier. Hey, Tibio. Now it's time for the vampire potion.

Tara / Journey:

Yeah. Tibio hands it over Okay. Surreptitiously trying not to draw attention.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Ilya is slowly descending the steps in dramatic fashion to come greet all of you. In that interim, Holly turns her back and downs the potion. I need you to make a constitution save.

Maggie / Poppy:

Well, I got a 5 total.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Holly is not doing well. Yes. The cure stops vampirism. However, that doesn't restart Holly's organs from having stopped in the first place.

Speaker 2:

I hand back my greater healing potion.

Speaker 5:

She's hit with this.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Holly, you're starting to lose your footing as you feel your body effectively shutting down. Ollie sees what's happening and tries to take control of the situation by taking your place, and she hands you a greater healing potion.

Speaker 2:

44+4.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. I will say, Holly, when you finish this potion, that is how much HP you have.

Maggie / Poppy:

13.

Tim / GM:

Ilya steps down those stairs and says, hello again.

Speaker 2:

Ilya.

Tim / GM:

Oli. We've had enough violence. Would you agree?

Speaker 2:

Am I speaking to Ilia?

Tim / GM:

No. She's gone.

Speaker 2:

No. I'm looking at her. She's gotta be in there somewhere.

Tim / GM:

She kind of, like, rolls her eyes and turns her expression towards Bert and says, I feel our attempts to reach an understanding haven't made an impression.

Thomas / Guy:

Well, we just got here.

Tim / GM:

This is your last chance for peace.

Speaker 2:

Ilya, and I walk closer.

Tim / GM:

She's still trying to ignore you.

Speaker 7:

What you ever is not peace. This immortal life that you want, it is not true life. There is no life without death.

Tim / GM:

She holds a hand to her face and she says, you need to expand your thinking. She holds her hands behind her back and starts kind of, like, striding from side to side in this room. She says, my experience has been loss. My mother, my own family, my children. Why do we accept this?

Tim / GM:

Tibia's people thoughtlessly parrot. Death is simply a part of life. The same way that people drone on about ill matter works in mysterious ways. I don't accept it. Humans worked in the dark, and then we burned wood, and then we burned oil, and now we burn the weave to light our magic lamps.

Tim / GM:

Why is death such an immutable unfixable problem? Why should we accept the countdown in our rotting bodies? Why isn't anyone else working on this? She kind of looks out to each of you.

Speaker 7:

Without death, life has no meaning. Each moment becomes important when there is an end. What you offer is nothing. It is not life. It is not an extension of life.

Tim / GM:

But why struggle? Why take the bad with the good when there's another option? Why fight every move that I make? You're exactly the kind of people that we need, the kind of people capable of guiding us, of leading the way.

Thomas / Guy:

What you seek isn't an end to death. Sure. I can understand what makes you want that, but you're seeking power and control. That's not what we want. People should be able to make their own choices, live their own lives, and then when it's over, it's sad, but they die.

Tim / GM:

No. None of this counts. None of this matters. It's a means to an end. Nobody will remember what I've done when we're all together.

Speaker 2:

What happens to the souls you consume? They don't get a second chance.

Tim / GM:

There's a price to pay.

Speaker 2:

That price is death to everyone else.

Tim / GM:

To some.

Speaker 2:

You seek an end to death, and yet you spread it in your wake.

Tim / GM:

I never said this was going to be easy and that nobody had to sacrifice. I have.

Speaker 2:

What have you sacrificed? As much as the rest of us have, as much as we will. What makes you better than everyone else?

Tim / GM:

I can see it, and it's not my fault that you don't, but I'll make you see it.

Speaker 2:

I don't have to see it, and I get close enough to touch.

Tim / GM:

To touch Ilya?

Tara / Journey:

Mhmm.

Tim / GM:

She's, like, right up in your face looking down at you. She's, like, one step up to be taller than you.

Speaker 2:

I try and pull Moja out.

Tara / Journey:

I cast protection from evil and good on Uli.

Speaker 2:

Thank you. Oh. I I wanna reach up to hold her face

Tim / GM:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And try one last time to, like, reach in and find the Ilia inside.

Tim / GM:

Give me a spell crafting check.

Speaker 2:

Please roll well. I can't. Can I tides of chaos that Yep? To get advantage? Also, I'm shaking.

Speaker 2:

17.

Tim / GM:

She doesn't move when you do this. And you can tell that if it was just Moja in there, that she would've. You actually place your hands on her face, and you hear, don't.

Speaker 7:

Shit.

Tim / GM:

Ilya kind of, like, pulls away from you softly. She doesn't, like, rip herself away. She just turns and and kind of walks away from you. And you can see that, like, she's flicking out her wrist as if she's anxious or something. She turns around again to kind of walk back towards you, And it looks like she's going to, like, brush hair out of her eyes or something, but her hand stops around her ear and makes a quick loop while she looks at you.

Speaker 2:

Do that? Sorry. I was literally going to to do the same thing when she turned around.

Tim / GM:

I think she turns around, and your hand is in the same position.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Tim / GM:

And the 2 of you stop. Everyone can see this. Ilya and Uli just made contact. Boom. The side of the wall explodes in flames sending

Speaker 2:

Oh, shit.

Tim / GM:

A shower of sparks and bricks and debris everywhere. I need everyone to make a deck save, including the

Tara / Journey:

elves. Oh

Tim / GM:

my god.

Speaker 8:

Good timing.

Speaker 2:

That's a negative one.

Thomas / Guy:

That's a 5, baby.

Speaker 2:

Negative one. Natural one.

Tara / Journey:

Natural one on my part,

Speaker 2:

dude. Jesus. Yeah. I didn't

Speaker 7:

expect it.

Tara / Journey:

Fuck it up.

Speaker 2:

I got

Maggie / Poppy:

a 5.

Speaker 2:

Oh my god.

Speaker 8:

An average of, like, 3.

Maggie / Poppy:

Oh, no. I also only have 13 life.

Tim / GM:

Ilya also did bad.

Maggie / Poppy:

What about Dave and

Speaker 2:

Emery? Dave and Emery.

Tara / Journey:

Oh, yeah. They're here.

Tim / GM:

Not the worst.

Thomas / Guy:

Alright. Also, don't do that. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

They're, like, the only ones who have been prepared this entire

Tara / Journey:

yeah. As we're as Ilya is monologuing and we're all saying, like, really important stuff, they're back behind us, like, yeah. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

Dave's just like, Alright. Snack. You're the only one who's fine. You explode into this room, and you see that there's like smoldering bricks and stuff as soon as the dust clears. You survey this room and see Ilia is face down.

Tim / GM:

Bert and Holly face down. Tibio is gone.

Speaker 5:

Looks like I just came here in time.

Speaker 2:

Snack, what the fuck?

Speaker 5:

I'm here to help now.

Tim / GM:

Dave Dave and Emery, like, run to their friends and start helping people up, and they're just like, Holly, are you okay?

Thomas / Guy:

Bert Bert's still prone on the ground and gives a thumbs up to Snack.

Speaker 5:

I can't believe you did all of this, Ilya.

Tim / GM:

She kind of, like, puts one arm on the ground and looks up at you, and you she, like, exhales smoke.

Speaker 8:

Alright. So we got a fireball here. Fuck. 15, 17 fire damage.

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

Is there any way to react to what just happened?

Tim / GM:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

I'd like to, as we're all laying on the ground, slam my fist down and cast Thunder Wave That's Healing

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

To everyone around us.

Tim / GM:

Oh. Okay.

Maggie / Poppy:

Yeah. Holly's out from the fireball.

Tim / GM:

Holly's had a rough couple of minutes here.

Maggie / Poppy:

She's unconscious. Yeah.

Speaker 8:

Died, like, 3 times

Speaker 5:

Yep. So far this week.

Speaker 2:

Am I

Maggie / Poppy:

still a hag?

Speaker 2:

No. Okay. It's 10 HP to everyone.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Holly, that puts you at 10.

Maggie / Poppy:

I'm back.

Thomas / Guy:

So we take 17.

Speaker 2:

Yep. And then gain 10. Yep.

Maggie / Poppy:

Holly has a greater healing potion. She's gonna drink that now. How much does that heal me?

Tim / GM:

44 plus 4.

Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. Plus the 10 I gave.

Tim / GM:

Mhmm.

Maggie / Poppy:

Okay. Yep.

Tim / GM:

Alright. Snack has landed on the ground. We're going to roll the last initiative of curse breaker.

Speaker 2:

Why does that make me sad?

Speaker 8:

Natural one.

Tara / Journey:

Yeah.

Tim / GM:

Wouldn't have it any other way.

Tara / Journey:

10.

Thomas / Guy:

10.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Maggie / Poppy:

Holly got a 13.

Tara / Journey:

Holly got a 13.

Maggie / Poppy:

A 16.

Tim / GM:

Okay. We're all in.

Maggie / Poppy:

Emery and Dave are in the initiative.

Tim / GM:

Oh. K. It's nice.

Maggie / Poppy:

You need, like, a little Emery and Dave sticker?

Thomas / Guy:

Yeah. We I

Tim / GM:

mean, I think these are tough. Yeah.

Speaker 8:

Yeah. We just need to kill the NPCs when we

Tim / GM:

No. Yeah. Just simplify the boyfriend.

Thomas / Guy:

Well, you

Speaker 5:

can find another one.

Speaker 2:

And my boyfriend's boyfriend.

Tara / Journey:

I love it.

Tim / GM:

Alright. Starting us off as Uli.

Speaker 2:

I know that hurting Ilya will hurt Ilya. Mhmm. And I don't think it would do much to Moja, who is a ghost. Mhmm. And separating them would hurt Ilya.

Tara / Journey:

It's still very fresh. True. Big nod from the DM. The big nod.

Tim / GM:

Those are invisible nods that the listener doesn't know that make us all sound intuitive.

Speaker 2:

I also know that our main goal is to close the tear, which I know that I have I very much have to be a part of. I'm gonna telepathy to everyone that Ilya is still in there somewhere. And then I'm gonna try and use my whole action to dash behind the throne room.

Tim / GM:

You don't see a clear path to, like, the cave that they kept talking about, the cavern.

Speaker 2:

I just know it's behind. Yeah. Okay. I would like to investigating would be my turn. Right?

Tim / GM:

Not necessarily.

Speaker 2:

I want to look at the wall.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Yep. Give me a quick investigation.

Speaker 2:

5. I don't think it's back here, guys. Yeah.

Speaker 8:

You don't see

Thomas / Guy:

a throne room.

Tara / Journey:

Like, this is not it. You

Tim / GM:

don't see a door.

Speaker 2:

Okay. What's at the back of this? The organ?

Tara / Journey:

Yeah. Fuck around with the organ. Is the

Thomas / Guy:

organ silent right now?

Tim / GM:

Yes. Nobody's done anything with it.

Speaker 2:

Alright. Well, I know that it's a problem. Mhmm.

Tara / Journey:

So I'm

Speaker 2:

just gonna start wailing on it. Okay. Can I just do magic missile punches?

Speaker 8:

Mhmm.

Speaker 2:

Alright. I'm just gonna do that. Sorry. I did roll a natural twenty to not surge. So No.

Speaker 2:

Thanks. Just in case you were worried. Eleven damage.

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Tara / Journey:

That's not nothing. That's

Speaker 7:

not nothing.

Tara / Journey:

To a piano that's standing there.

Speaker 2:

I punched

Speaker 8:

a piano three times. It'd probably be pretty messed up.

Speaker 2:

I forgot how to play D and D in the, like, 5 minutes we had.

Tim / GM:

Uli conjures up some magic missiles on her fist and begins pounding the keys, and you see Ivory flying everywhere as she slams into them. You also hear these massive, horrible notes. Every key has been set up to cause discord here. Nothing that this organ produces can be considered music.

Speaker 2:

That's because I'm playing it.

Tim / GM:

During that time, this room rumbles every time she hits the keys, and it's, it's a little jarring to say the least. Next up is actually

Thomas / Guy:

What's what's Illya's reaction to this?

Tim / GM:

Doesn't seem to affect her in any way. Oh. Emrys is next.

Thomas / Guy:

Yeah.

Tim / GM:

He draws his great sword and looks at Uly. What? And then he looks up at Illya.

Speaker 2:

No. Don't kill her.

Tim / GM:

He kind of, like, holds out a hand, like, what do you want me to do then? How

Speaker 2:

I'm how did you in my head, I'm saying, how did you separate from your ghost boy?

Tim / GM:

You see his, like, spirit kind of, like, pop out a little bit, and then he, like, shakes his head and he goes, I didn't.

Speaker 2:

Okay. Great. Glad we cleared that up before we came in here.

Maggie / Poppy:

I don't know what you want

Speaker 2:

me to do. Don't kill my sister.

Tim / GM:

He raises his sword over his head, and he just starts bashing the keys of the organ. He's just, like, standing up there with you, and he's, like, nodding at you, like, yeah?

Speaker 2:

Yeah. Sure. That's what I'm doing.

Tim / GM:

The 2 of you are just standing up there, like, moving down the row of keys. Yeah. It's it is a horrible cacophony. You understand exactly what the telepathy was for. Those of you with good moss in your ears are really appreciating it about now.

Tim / GM:

Whoops. Emery is gonna strike at the organ. Doesn't do great. Yeah. Emery slashes at the pipe organ alongside you, Uli.

Tim / GM:

Holly, it's your turn.

Maggie / Poppy:

Holly is going to look at the weave in this room.

Tim / GM:

Yes. Looking up and down, Holly, you can see this twisting vortex that leads behind this pipe organ. It almost looks like some of the weave is being funneled into these pipes, but it all is connected back there. Everything is pointing to that. Okay.

Speaker 2:

But

Tim / GM:

it all just goes right through the back wall.

Maggie / Poppy:

Can I tell if it is solid behind the organ by looking at the weave or not really?

Tim / GM:

It is solid, but only for a little while.

Maggie / Poppy:

Okay. Holly is just gonna cast sunbeam at Ilia

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Maggie / Poppy:

While Uli's back is turned.

Speaker 2:

That might actually kill her. She is a vampire.

Maggie / Poppy:

Yeah. Holly brings out a crystal and casts Sunbeam. Each creature in the line must make a constitution saving throw.

Tim / GM:

K. Oh. 23.

Maggie / Poppy:

So it's 16. Yeah. She beats it.

Speaker 2:

Is that like a half damage situation? Or

Maggie / Poppy:

Yep. It takes half damage and is not blinded. Oh, you have disadvantage if you're undead.

Tim / GM:

Oh, you were better off with the first roll.

Maggie / Poppy:

Okay. So, yeah, half damage, and it is 6 d 8 radiant damage. 30 radiant damage.

Tim / GM:

You hear a brief, and you see her skin begin to smoke as she tries to step out of the way of the sunbeam. Next up is Tibio and then Bert.

Tara / Journey:

Is my bone cage ability an action?

Tim / GM:

Yes.

Tara / Journey:

I'm going to use my action to send just a big old bunch of bones right at Ilya to pin her in place. Okay. So 17.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Yeah. She does not roll that high. Ilya is pinned by bones.

Tara / Journey:

Then I am going to shout through my telepathy,

Speaker 7:

fund that backroom and get in there.

Tara / Journey:

I will distract her, and I am going to chaos. Nothing. Because I took my

Tim / GM:

action. K.

Tara / Journey:

I'm gonna flip her off.

Tim / GM:

Good. Yeah. She's, like, pinned to the ground, like, staring up at you. She's obviously, like, frustrated and can't move beyond the strength of these bones, and you just give her the double bird, and she's like Quadruple bird. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

Nice. Alright. Bert, you're next.

Thomas / Guy:

Alright. Bert sees Tibio trap Ilia in the cage, and using his mind says, Tibio, I think you need to get back there too. I can keep tabs on her. And Bert will call down a guardian of faith right outside the cage.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Your guardian opens her book and draws out the sword and points it down at Illya, daring her to move.

Thomas / Guy:

Mhmm. Stay there and think about what you've done.

Tim / GM:

Ilia is next. The first thing you see from Ilia is her fighting against these bones. You see her kind of like pull against them and they all rise off the ground a little bit, and then her arms like snap back to the ground as they restrain her, and then she just lets out a shrill cry. And at that same time, you all feel that same feeling of your vision going gray, and you all die for a second. Everyone in Vindorn takes 46 necrotic damage.

Speaker 2:

46.

Thomas / Guy:

Alright. You're rolling for everybody in Vindorn? Yes.

Tim / GM:

That is 12 necrotic damage to the entire city.

Speaker 8:

You're doing it.

Tara / Journey:

Except for me because I have resistance.

Tim / GM:

Resistance of half. Okay.

Speaker 2:

I also take half. Because of your shroud. Yep.

Tim / GM:

It is clear to you now that the people closest to this pool will be the first ones to die when it all goes over, and it is so close to going over.

Speaker 2:

Okay. I don't like this.

Tim / GM:

And that was just the lair action.

Tara / Journey:

Oh, fuck.

Speaker 2:

Cool. Cool.

Tim / GM:

Ollie. Mhmm. Ilya starts pulling up on her right arm, and it breaks against all of the bones there, and she frees a hand. And she just points 2 fingers straight at you. She begins pouring necrotic energy into you.

Tim / GM:

You need to make a contested spell crafting check.

Speaker 2:

Fuck.

Tara / Journey:

Ilya has disadvantage on attack rolls against Uli.

Speaker 8:

Do you have a reason for that?

Tara / Journey:

Protection against evil and good.

Speaker 8:

Yeah. Just getting it out there.

Speaker 2:

13.

Tim / GM:

Okay. You all see Uli and Ilia lock into a sort of magic duel. You see this white line of energy begin pouring into Uli, and you can see her own life essence is fighting back. It is trying to push out this energy connecting to her, but Ilya quickly wins. That is 36 necrotic damage, Julie.

Tara / Journey:

Oh, no.

Tim / GM:

And next up is Dave.

Speaker 8:

Yeah.

Tara / Journey:

Does Dave go into a rage seeing his girlfriend all hearted?

Tim / GM:

Unfortunately, he does.

Speaker 7:

Oh, no.

Speaker 2:

Don't kill him.

Tara / Journey:

I didn't mean literal rage. Oh, no.

Tim / GM:

It's a little tough in this moment, but you see a different side of Dave. He takes his trusty cleaver, and you see him take heavy steps toward Ilya with the cleaver raised. You can all see the rage in Dave's eyes. He makes this low as he moves across the battlefield, raising a cleaver on high, and brings it straight down on Ilya.

Tara / Journey:

Don't kill her.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Dave does not do all the damage he could. Even in the middle of his rage, Uly, at the last minute, he hears you. He turns his blade sideways, and he just begins bludgeoning Ilya with the backside of it, trying to knock her unconscious while she's prone. They're heavy hits, and everyone in this room can hear them.

Tim / GM:

Just metal connecting with a skull.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I did imagine him just slapping her with a cleaver. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

That's pretty much what happens here. Yeah. He was about to cut her hand off to stop that energy.

Tara / Journey:

Yeah. It was a Snack.

Speaker 5:

I don't see any backroom. What are you speaking of?

Maggie / Poppy:

It's behind the organ, Snack.

Speaker 8:

Behind the organ.

Maggie / Poppy:

Destroy it.

Speaker 5:

Yes. Snack will destroy. I think,

Speaker 8:

yeah, I'm going to use violet flash and just appear, like, above the organ. Okay. And then I'm gonna look at the wall and open my ma wide and just, like, rip through the wall.

Tim / GM:

Just with your teeth?

Speaker 2:

Yeah. Okay. Yes.

Maggie / Poppy:

Well, he's biting the metal organ pipes. Yeah. And you're like, bring them down. It's like he's trying to bite into the organ. Yeah.

Speaker 8:

So I bite the organ and I tried to just I'm like, I perched it on the wall and I just started, like,

Speaker 5:

like, rip it off.

Tim / GM:

Yeah.

Speaker 8:

23? Yeah. Right.

Tara / Journey:

That hits the immobile organ. Mhmm. Wow. Organ

Speaker 2:

hasn't even had a chance to play yet.

Tara / Journey:

Did the organ already have its reaction? We're all full of shits and giggles now, but

Speaker 2:

we're about

Tara / Journey:

to get beat up.

Speaker 2:

I know.

Speaker 8:

31 damage.

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Speaker 8:

That's my first attack. Dwight What the fuck?

Tim / GM:

The organ is near inoperable at this point. Enough pipes have been ripped 17 and natural

Speaker 8:

20.

Tim / GM:

Oh.

Speaker 8:

17 and natural 20. Oh. Can I crit on a wall?

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Do it. Do it.

Speaker 8:

Wall crit. Still a hit, but yeah. Yeah. Okay. 28, slashing damage on

Speaker 5:

the wall.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Alright. Snack, with that last slash, you can now see through this wall. You've broken down the bricks behind the organ. You can see this room used to be much larger.

Tim / GM:

They just sealed it off at a certain point and built a wall in an organ. The room continues back for a little ways, and then it's much like Genie's room inside your lamp, where there's a sheer cliff drop, and then a giant ocean of white. It establishes a new horizon to the north. It looks like you can look on forever and just see this new sun on the horizon.

Speaker 8:

I'll use my movement to, like, push off of the wall and then land on my, hind legs and then do a little bow and then gesture, people do.

Maggie / Poppy:

No.

Tara / Journey:

Yeah.

Tim / GM:

I think the tear goes far down enough that you guys would be able to kind of hoist yourself through the gap now. The next round starts over. We're at the top of the order with Uli.

Speaker 2:

Okay. I'm just taking a second to shake off the necrotic to remind myself that we came here for a purpose Mhmm. Whether or not my sister is involved. And I'll take one last look at her. I'll make the same symbol, and then I'll scramble through the hole.

Tim / GM:

I think at that, Uli, you get a reaction. As you're moving through the hole, you hear, help, as Illya calls out to you.

Tara / Journey:

Tibia shouts in your head,

Speaker 2:

go. Ilya, I'm gonna fix this, and then I keep going.

Tim / GM:

Okay. I think at the conclusion of that, you all feel the pang of despair. This whole place shudders again, and you feel another necrotic pulse.

Speaker 2:

Oh, now I'm closer to it.

Tim / GM:

That is 13 necrotic damage to everyone and 23 necrotic damage to Uli.

Speaker 2:

23? Yes. I thought I had protection from good and evil.

Tim / GM:

Sorry. That would be the full damage. So you've got half that for your actual damage. You just have more because you are exposed. Almost like being too close to a radioactive source, the closer you are to this when it pulses, the more it hurts.

Speaker 2:

So it'd be

Tara / Journey:

6 for the 13th. 6 for me.

Tim / GM:

Yep. And then 23 goes down to 12.

Thomas / Guy:

Or 11. 11. Thank you.

Tim / GM:

Uli, Emery comes in right behind you, and he just kinda like looks at you and gives you this weird smile. And he goes, alright. Now what? He kind of, like, turns with you, and you both behold this white horizon. And you can see this room is littered with fresh bodies.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Tim / GM:

You can see the whole process laid out before you now. There's a vampire enforcer, a few of them in here, that still have like rows of civilians that are all being forced to expend their magic. They're all working at destroying the weave together. Most of them against their will. As soon as they exert themselves, they either get kicked into the white or killed outright.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna start trying to push it back together.

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

What little I can do on my own?

Tim / GM:

Embry pretends to help for a second, but he realizes he can't. He runs down the ridge a little bit and starts threatening those vampire warriors. They immediately kind of put their hands up realizing that if you guys have gotten this far, it's over for them. The vampires don't put up much resistance. Emri kicks one end of the way just for fun.

Tim / GM:

Holly, it's your turn.

Maggie / Poppy:

Holly's gonna zoom on her broom Mhmm. Into the open organ room.

Thomas / Guy:

Wow. Good job.

Tara / Journey:

Can we telepathy off turn?

Thomas / Guy:

Sure.

Speaker 7:

Holly, come get these.

Maggie / Poppy:

Holly zooms by Tibio on her way.

Tara / Journey:

I give you the violet with pink crystals potion, and I give you the red with gold lightning potion. And I say the valid ones for you. The red is for Uli.

Maggie / Poppy:

Got it. Thanks. Wait. You need a ride? Nope.

Maggie / Poppy:

Okay. Bye.

Tim / GM:

Alright. Yeah. Holly, you whoosh into the other room to see this glowing white horizon that's blinding you as soon as you enter. It's the most otherworldly sight you've ever seen.

Maggie / Poppy:

Holly hops off her broom next to Uli, and she says, here, this is for you from Tibia with love. What do the potions do? Sorry.

Tim / GM:

Your base armor class becomes 15. You grow 2 size categories, and you are resistant to all damage for 1 minute.

Maggie / Poppy:

Sweet.

Tim / GM:

Your body and skin become entirely pink crystals.

Maggie / Poppy:

That's so Holly. Cute. Yeah. Holly drinks this potion and transforms into a giant pink crystal golem Yep. In the shape of Holly.

Tim / GM:

Yes. Holly, is there anything you wanted to accomplish once you move into this room?

Maggie / Poppy:

Yeah. I'm gonna try to look at the weave and help Uli close it

Speaker 2:

Yeah. Together.

Tim / GM:

I mean, you can immediately tell that this is the conclusion of all of it. You can see the end of the vortex. Everything funnels into this point. This is the end.

Maggie / Poppy:

Holly's gonna take out the thread the weave thread that she had from Margo Bingo from forever ago. And she takes a giant needle, and she now as a giant crystal golem, she's gonna try to start literally sewing the weave back together as best she can. And she's like, Uli, just follow my lead.

Tim / GM:

Interesting. Okay.

Speaker 2:

I've never sewn before.

Maggie / Poppy:

Well, these stitches are just, like, crisscross or,

Speaker 2:

like, horse. Right. There's, like, knots in it.

Tim / GM:

Holly, I think you can see the seams in this. You can see the edges of where this is all held together. You think maybe if we can close those edges, this whole thing goes away. Mhmm. Tibia, it's on you.

Tara / Journey:

Trying to cheese it y'all. I'm going to drink the teal potion Mhmm. So that I have a magic ghost that casts the same spell at the same time with the same stats as me.

Tim / GM:

K.

Tara / Journey:

I'm then going to cast sickening radiance

Thomas / Guy:

Mhmm.

Tara / Journey:

Centered on Ilia.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Wow. Yeah. We saw that in the fight with Idris a couple times. This cloud of gold begins to settle over Ilia.

Tara / Journey:

That is Materne.

Tim / GM:

It is on Bert.

Thomas / Guy:

Tibeo and I are kinda together, and I see this sickening radiance. Mhmm. I'm gonna try to spoof another arcana check out of you. Okay. I remember what Kieso said about using healing magic on Holly when she was in vampire form.

Thomas / Guy:

Mhmm. What happens when that happen?

Tara / Journey:

Do I

Thomas / Guy:

have to roll?

Tim / GM:

Oh, it's a no? Yeah. Yeah, please. 27. Not only does it hurt them, it it is extremely effective in dispatching them.

Thomas / Guy:

Neat.

Tim / GM:

Effectively, you can think of it as working the same way that necrotic energy works on living things.

Thomas / Guy:

Okay. Hey, Tevye, what does that smell do, the way you just guessed?

Speaker 7:

It is going to do quite a bit of radiant damage.

Thomas / Guy:

Radiant damage. Radiant damage.

Speaker 7:

Quite a bit.

Thomas / Guy:

Quite a bit. Well, maybe we'll just see what happens. Look. I never told anyone about this. But you remember when Emory and I were fighting the dragon, and it was just us fighting the dragon, and there was no one else around to help us fight the dragon?

Speaker 2:

Mhmm.

Thomas / Guy:

Well, Emory almost died. I mean, he was knocked out, not looking good. And that spirit that was in him almost fought his way out.

Speaker 7:

If If we can do enough damage here, I can drag Mocha out of her.

Thomas / Guy:

Yeah. We have to be careful, and it's probably good that Uli's not here to see us, but I think that's the move.

Speaker 7:

Yes.

Thomas / Guy:

Can I hold my action to cast healing word on Ilia after I see what Tibia spell does? Sure. Great.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Alright.

Thomas / Guy:

Do I just specify a, like, spell level now? Or

Tim / GM:

Yes. Yeah.

Tara / Journey:

I'm banking a lot on my fucking spell doing enough damage. Oh, I'm so nervous.

Thomas / Guy:

Alright. Is did you cast a double radiant whatever, though? Yeah. Okay. Instead of my healing spell, I'm going already spare the dying if I need to.

Tim / GM:

That's a fun 180. Yep. Okay. Alright. It is Ilia's turn.

Tim / GM:

As soon as she awakens into her turn, she, feels the horrible radiant clouds that are hovering over her. That is a constitution save for each. Mhmm. Actually, very good. 22 and 19.

Tara / Journey:

Both succeed.

Tim / GM:

Is that no damage?

Tara / Journey:

Yeah. That's no damage.

Tim / GM:

Wow. Okay.

Speaker 2:

Is she susceptible to radiant in any way that would make her

Thomas / Guy:

I do not cast spray the dust.

Tim / GM:

I mean, she is susceptible, but

Tara / Journey:

I didn't do any damage. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

You hear her say through gritted teeth, it's gonna take more than that. Fuck. The next go is Dave. Actually What? It's all she does?

Tim / GM:

No. Yeah. Sorry. Thanks, Bert.

Thomas / Guy:

Hey. You didn't assign to saying homework?

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Oh my. That's exactly it. I love that. Ilya begins to breathe heavily, and you can feel that pulse again.

Tim / GM:

It seems to be saving itself up. Realizing that you've already infiltrated the sacred back chamber of this place, Moja gives up the ghost quite literally.

Thomas / Guy:

Yeah.

Tim / GM:

You all feel a pang. I can't. That is 14 to everyone outside of the chamber, necrotic damage, and 22 necrotic damage to everyone inside the chamber. That's Emory included. And you see Moja begin to manifest around Ilya.

Tim / GM:

She is tired of being pinned down. She cannot free herself. She is starting to separate from Moja.

Thomas / Guy:

Well, mission accomplished.

Speaker 2:

It's a pair of

Tara / Journey:

the dice. So can I see Moja separating?

Tim / GM:

Yeah. You can see her struggling. Yeah. You take an action.

Tara / Journey:

Tibio is going to attempt to soul drag Moshe. Just grab him and drag him out of Ilia and down to the fucking underworld. Okay. Is he at is he below 50% health?

Speaker 7:

I doubt it.

Tim / GM:

No. Not even lost.

Tara / Journey:

He's super down it. Yeah. Yep. That's what I thought. That's what I thought.

Tim / GM:

Alright. That is a con save, I believe. Or, no, it's a death save.

Tara / Journey:

Mhmm.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Okay. What the fuck?

Tara / Journey:

Unaffected.

Tim / GM:

Wow. Okay.

Tara / Journey:

I try. I reach out, and I try to grab Moja, and I just get nothing.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Dave is looking down at Ilya painted on the ground, looks up at all of you and just says, what do we do? He looks up at Tivia and says, do I end this?

Speaker 7:

Yes. End it.

Tim / GM:

He, looks at the ground, and he almost doesn't look at what he's doing, but he raises the cleaver again, and he drops it into Ilia. Advantage for the prone. This time, he gets an 18 to hit. It's a solid connection. That is, 15 slashing damage as he drives the cleaver into Ilia's body, and, you can hear her kind of react to that, a sort of guttural heave as blood reaches her mouth, but it's not enough to kill her.

Tim / GM:

Not even close. She's tough as hell. He raises the cleaver with blood on it, and he kind of looks around and he just says, I don't know. You guys, I don't know.

Speaker 7:

Dave, just trust me.

Tim / GM:

Snack, it's on you.

Speaker 8:

I'm going to, take in the surroundings and just and try to hit Ilya and the Moja creature that's coming to view Mhmm. With a violet flame breath.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 8:

So just so it's a 30 foot cone.

Tim / GM:

60.

Speaker 8:

Yes. Yeah. Sixty foot cone. So I don't know if anyone else would be caught in that, but I'm that's that's who I'm aiming for.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Yeah. I think Dave and Tibia both need to save from that.

Tara / Journey:

What kind of save is that?

Tim / GM:

A dexterity save, I

Speaker 8:

believe. Yep.

Tara / Journey:

Dirty 20.

Tim / GM:

Dave was kind of looking right at you for advice, a snack. He was looking up at you and he goes, guys, what do I do? And then he sees you like rear back for a flame breath and he goes, oh. And he like runs out of the way with a natural twenty, Davis unscathed. Hey.

Tara / Journey:

That's amazing.

Tim / GM:

How'd you do?

Tara / Journey:

Dirty 20.

Tim / GM:

Okay. That's right. Yeah.

Speaker 5:

I'm both.

Tara / Journey:

Yeah. So me and my bones skitter backwards. Okay.

Speaker 5:

Yeah. It's 86 to

Speaker 8:

both, and then I get plus 2 because of the, smoldering scale. Sure. So 57 damage.

Tim / GM:

That's it?

Speaker 5:

Yeah. Alright.

Tim / GM:

Sorry. I didn't mean to cut that down. Okay. Yeah. That is gonna be a problem snack.

Tim / GM:

You can't not hit the wall when you do this, the back wall. Who needs walls? You guys have experienced a lot of explosions in your day.

Thomas / Guy:

Sure.

Tim / GM:

Okay. There's been a couple towers, the flame skull. There's been a few others. Nothing compares to what just happened. The flame breath is one thing, but the amount of disturbance this causes within the pool of white is another.

Tara / Journey:

Great.

Tim / GM:

Another 17 necrotic damage sweeps over the party. Fantastic. Everybody? Everybody.

Speaker 2:

Okay. I just I only have 17 left, but because I'm a half orc Yes. I go to 1.

Tim / GM:

Oh my god.

Speaker 8:

Nice. That came up one time in Curse Breaker. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

Emery sees you dropped to a knee.

Maggie / Poppy:

Holly's down. She's unconscious. You're resistant. Yeah. I I only had 7 HP left.

Tim / GM:

That was enough to free Moja.

Speaker 8:

That's good. Right?

Tara / Journey:

Yeah. Theoretically.

Tim / GM:

Looking between each other now, you can see that there's no barrier. There's no more pipe organ. There's no more wall. It's just this cathedral and the endless white horizon in front of you. When this explosion goes off, magic gets twisted.

Tim / GM:

Uli is deeply affected. You see that apparition again pop out of you when you reach the point of death. You were all thrown. Tibio, you're on your face on the ground. Holly, you're barely conscious, barely cognizant of what's going on in this room.

Tim / GM:

You're on the ground unable to act. You can see arcs of white light just like when the octopus came to be crashing around this room, striking things at random. You see it strike over Holly and it hits her pack of privacy. You see it strike Bert, and he goes flying ass over tea kettle. The pack of privacy is destroyed.

Tim / GM:

All of your items are thrown into the open air here and, for the first time, you see gravity is different when you're close to that pool. Everything is just floating. Moja, in his moment of freedom, begins to wildly tear at the weave to try to accomplish his goal. You're all clearing the dust from your lungs and looking up to get a lay of the land. All of you are prone.

Tim / GM:

All of you are discombobulated, except maybe snack. But you see the book, Bert's

Thomas / Guy:

journal. The book of Bert.

Speaker 2:

Mhmm.

Tim / GM:

It's floating in open space. Its pages dreamily flipping in an endless cascade. And then just above it, from the pack of privacy, Holly's hysteroscope. As they orbit around each other, they form a relationship not unlike the book of truth and the crystal that shines down on it. You see the hysteroscope begin to project images.

Tim / GM:

One more time, you see Uli's shiny butt as she dives into the swimming hole. But this time, you see more. While half this cavern is consumed by the massive pool of light, the other half are scenes from Bert's book, glimpses of your adventure together. You see yourself sharing a hero's feast, celebrating a banquet and memoir, running into Dave time and time again, going hog wild together. But before all that happened, you shared a special moment.

Tim / GM:

You're in a cave. All of you, months ago. Deep below the mountain, Dundas, Tibio ponders a found finger bone, and Uli breaks into song.

Speaker 2:

Country gnomes, take my bones.

Thomas / Guy:

West Virginia.

Speaker 2:

Live light landing,

Tara / Journey:

mountain been dawn.

Tim / GM:

Bert's book is divinely sentient. Even though the divine rarely give Bert the exact answers he's looking for, it seems his trusty book knows exactly what they need right now. The book plays every memory of Tibio's music. Hours of practice in the wagon, recitals at every long rest, and a stream of consciousness limerick game that never quits. Moja is frozen.

Tim / GM:

You get a free round.

Speaker 2:

Yes. Oh. Fuck yeah.

Tim / GM:

We start with Uli.

Speaker 2:

Okay. So everything, like, pulsed. Yep. My magical spirit came out of me.

Tim / GM:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

But now I know what it is. Yes. And I embrace it. I know who I am. I take the potion.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. The healing one.

Speaker 2:

Go back to full health. Yes. Plus 15.

Tim / GM:

Yes. You all see Uli Crackle with golden lightning as she consumes the potion.

Tara / Journey:

I

Speaker 2:

want to rage.

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

As my free spell, I'm going to cast Thunder Wave at a 6th level. Fuck.

Tim / GM:

Holy. Yes. This time, when you cast, being as close to the most wild source of magic in existence, this white horizon, you glimpse what magic really is and what it really is is a part of you. The spectral figure in front of you merges with you one last time, and you look down to your overalls. In the center of it, a massive Oolie patch.

Tim / GM:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Aww. Aww. Wait. No. Now I'm gonna cry.

Speaker 2:

No. What the fuck?

Tara / Journey:

The magic was in you all along.

Speaker 2:

I finally accepted my spell.

Tim / GM:

Lily. Yeah. Your spells deal maximum damage from now on.

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh. Okay. It's Thunder Wave at a 6th level.

Tim / GM:

With a maximized cast. Yeah. Everyone here gains 48 hit points. I don't

Speaker 2:

know if the healing does anything to Yeah. It'll hit Mojo. Okay. That'd be great. Try and put all of my curse breaker energy into sealing.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Yeah. I mean Holly's been working on you know finding the seams in this place and beginning to weave them together.

Maggie / Poppy:

Okay.

Tim / GM:

You can see what she's working on and you can begin to grab the threads that she's bringing to you.

Speaker 2:

My most powerful self. Yes. I like bring my hands together and I give it all I got.

Tim / GM:

Okay. We'll move through the round here and come back to it. Emery goes next. He is marveling at Uli.

Speaker 2:

I am impressive. He

Tim / GM:

opportunity for retribution, Emery is going to take his long sword, and whether it works or not, he is going to carve up Moja as best he can. You see him glow with righteous fury as the spirit inside of him ignites his blade, and it's a fairly unimpressive swing. You see Emery in his classic slashing away at Moja. Who's to say if it really hurts him? Next is Holly.

Maggie / Poppy:

Well, I guess Holly got healed by Uli.

Tim / GM:

Yes.

Maggie / Poppy:

So she's back Yep. From that's the door.

Tim / GM:

I can.

Maggie / Poppy:

Yeah. Holly's going to, give it all she got to close-up the weave. I forgot that rage triggers a surge.

Tim / GM:

Oh, yeah. Do that.

Speaker 2:

Sorry.

Tim / GM:

Uli.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Tim / GM:

While you are a master of magic, you may choose any effect from the wild magic surge table.

Tara / Journey:

Sure. Alright. Do you want Holly to finish her turn

Thomas / Guy:

while you're ready?

Speaker 2:

Yeah. Finish your turn, please.

Maggie / Poppy:

Yeah. Holly is she's she's still a crystal golem.

Tim / GM:

Yes.

Maggie / Poppy:

That's, like, 3 times her size. Yep. So I think all the magic light in this room starts going through the crystal prism of her body.

Tim / GM:

Yeah.

Maggie / Poppy:

And she literally is just, like, light and crystals, and it's, like, rainbows coming out of her. It's, like, just the refractive light is just going crazy off her golem body. And she is sewing with both hands now and, like, stitching up everything.

Tara / Journey:

Just coming. Yeah. Like like like she's thrown a boot together for somebody.

Tim / GM:

I mean, as a crystal giant, you've got the size and scope to perform something like this.

Maggie / Poppy:

And yeah. So she is giving it all she got with the curse breaker energy, same as Uli, to try to close-up.

Tim / GM:

That's Tibio and then Bert.

Speaker 2:

I have chosen. Okay. I'm going to maximize the damage of the next damaging spell I cast within the next minute.

Tim / GM:

That's already going to happen.

Speaker 2:

Can it double it? No. Then I want sorry. Keep going.

Tara / Journey:

Okay. How is Ilya looking?

Tim / GM:

Tibia, you can tell that Ilya had sustained serious injury. Even though her body was supplemented by Moja's power, she is maybe seconds from death.

Tara / Journey:

Did my heel do anything for her? Hurt her worse, probably, because she's a vampire. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

It kind of exacerbated the problem.

Tara / Journey:

Tibeo looks up at Moja, knows that he has this opportunity to try again to drag him, then looks at Ilya, sees the condition that she's in, and kneels in front of her and bars her soul from the underworld.

Tim / GM:

You all hear a clatter of bones as Tibia's armor falls away. Ilya gives one quiet cough and rolls over, and you can tell she's gonna be fine. Tibio, your power is severely limited for a little while here. Next up is Bert.

Speaker 2:

I have chosen.

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

You gain resistance to all damage for the next minute.

Tim / GM:

Perfect. Okay.

Thomas / Guy:

Dang it. Tibio saving Ilia is supposed to be my job. I guess I just gotta do the Bone Boys job now. Bert's gonna turn over to Mocha and cast dispel evil and good.

Tim / GM:

K.

Thomas / Guy:

Mostly evil in this case, In attempt to send him back to his home plane.

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Thomas / Guy:

God. Oh, boy.

Tim / GM:

That's a natural twenty. Woah.

Speaker 5:

Are you kidding me?

Speaker 2:

No. Fuck. Yes. It's real. Oh my god.

Speaker 2:

We need a hedge. How the fuck?

Tim / GM:

At a bird. Okay. At a bird. Wait.

Thomas / Guy:

Wait. Wait. He has to make a Christmas saving throw after I roll a spell to hit, which makes it worse than management, but

Tim / GM:

Here's the thing. Moja is maybe 50 feet from his home plane.

Thomas / Guy:

Sure.

Tim / GM:

He definitely has disadvantage. I'm gonna say a 5 doesn't cut it.

Tara / Journey:

Nope. Wow.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Tibio motions towards Mojo with all of his bone armor. The boy who was engineered to stop things like Moja from happening, in a gesture of truth to himself, Tibio chooses not violence, but mercy and compassion. Tibio gives up his power to save Ilya from dying. But we've still got Bert.

Thomas / Guy:

Bert Bert will choose violence, please.

Tim / GM:

Bert, you step over the last couple pieces of the organ over some ivory keys on the ground, Your book strutting next to you as you move. Moja, in a paralyzed lockjaw fashion, slowly turns his head to look at you. The invincible one, the impervious golden bearer of truth, and you cast dispel good and evil. That's

Tara / Journey:

right.

Tim / GM:

You all see this radiating force, these concentric circles that begin to billow over Moja. There's nothing he can do to keep himself here as he's being pushed time and time again into the plane that he belongs to. When he crosses that threshold, his body begins to disintegrate. 1 by 1, the birds take him back. The force of the underworld, the eternal spirits, the ravens, the birds, begin to pour out in an endless murmuration as they strike against him, taking one little piece at a time back.

Speaker 2:

Oh, you think you're cursed? No. Your hearts burn.

Tim / GM:

Uli, Dave just barely makes it to you, and he stops around where Emery is, and he just marvels at you. He drops his cleaver with a sharp metallic clang, and you all see Moja continue to float into this endless white horizon, getting smaller by the second. Snack.

Speaker 5:

What?

Tim / GM:

It's your turn.

Speaker 8:

Snack was, standing up and, like, kinda building up for another dragon breath, and then sees what Bert did, and he just, like, deflates. And deflates into his, like, normal form.

Tim / GM:

All the way back down.

Speaker 5:

Bert, you I was ready I guess I'll do the tying up the weave thing. I whatever they're doing over there.

Speaker 8:

And then I misty step over using the Brimstone Cloak and then try to help, work on closing up the, the rift.

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

Give it all you got, snack.

Speaker 5:

Oh, yes. Yeah. Yeah. I forgot about that step. Yes.

Tim / GM:

And I

Speaker 8:

give it all I got.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Let's have Uli and Holly make a spell crafting check together.

Maggie / Poppy:

I mean, Uli. Advantages or anything. I

Tim / GM:

think you both earned advantage.

Speaker 2:

Fuck yeah.

Tim / GM:

Snack. Moja is trying to claw his way back. He's still got some strength in some body. He is being rapidly disintegrated, but he looks like he's going to make it.

Speaker 8:

Okay. Clink my, bracers together, and then instead of focusing on closing up the weave, which may or may not have been helpful, Snack sees Moja and then extends both arms and just shoots everything he has. And then there's like a flicker of radiant kinda spiced into there. Yeah.

Maggie / Poppy:

From the bracers? Yeah. Yeah. Spicy spell.

Tim / GM:

Alright. So let's get those rolls with advantage from both Holly and Uli.

Maggie / Poppy:

I rolled a natural 20.

Tim / GM:

Holy shit.

Speaker 2:

Holy shit.

Tim / GM:

This is the most blessed section.

Tara / Journey:

We rolled some ones too in the middle there, like

Speaker 2:

And that is a 27 from me.

Tara / Journey:

Jesus. Wow.

Tim / GM:

Snack, give me that damage. Actually rolled a

Speaker 8:

hit. Oh, this is a

Maggie / Poppy:

I swear to god, if it's a 20.

Speaker 8:

Nope. But it is an 18, so yeah.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Yeah.

Speaker 5:

Pretty pretty good. Yeah.

Speaker 8:

Okay. 18 plus whatever.

Tim / GM:

Yes. 18 by itself would hit. Alright. Snack damage.

Speaker 8:

I don't 10 d 10? Yep.

Speaker 2:

I was so nervous that roll was gonna go poorly. I did roll a 2 and an 18.

Speaker 8:

Wow. 47 damage.

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Speaker 8:

Plus Genie? Do I still get Genie?

Speaker 5:

Yeah. 51.

Maggie / Poppy:

Genie's always with you now.

Speaker 8:

It's all radiant if that matters.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. That does matter. Alright. Yeah. You blast him with the final curse breaker spell.

Tim / GM:

You drain yourself to end Moa Jo. This should be the last spell you'd ever have to cast in your entire life. And about halfway through, you realize it should be radiant. You switch that over. And from a distance, you just begin cutting Moja into smaller and smaller pieces, like a pressure washer.

Tim / GM:

Along the outsides, you can see Uli and Holly working together, Holly attaching all of these threads to the edge of the weave, Uli pulling on them as hard as she can to close this gap. Tibia, you can see the largest tear in the weave, the largest portal to the underworld is being closed by other people. You're not alone in this.

Tara / Journey:

I have, Ilya's head cradled

Tim / GM:

to my lap. Detached from her body.

Speaker 2:

No. No. We can glue it back on. It's fine. She's okay.

Speaker 2:

It's fine. Pretty pretty Ilya. Pretty girl.

Tara / Journey:

Yeah. And I'm just, yeah, sitting there holding Ilya, making sure she continues to not die, and watching as my friends finish the job.

Tim / GM:

Okay. There's a quieting suction noise, this sort of as the portal to the Weave is quite literally physically closed by Holly and Uli working together, and this place goes silent.

Thomas / Guy:

Do it.

Speaker 2:

Did we do it?

Thomas / Guy:

Did that end?

Speaker 5:

There's probably still vampires around. Right?

Thomas / Guy:

We are in vampire country.

Maggie / Poppy:

I think I think we did it.

Thomas / Guy:

It's over.

Speaker 2:

Did we give it all we got?

Tara / Journey:

Was that all we had?

Speaker 5:

Chibio, is is she okay?

Tara / Journey:

Mhmm. I think there

Speaker 7:

is some work that needs to be done. She's still very hurt and a vampire, but, yeah, I think should be okay.

Tim / GM:

Hello, everyone.

Speaker 2:

Oh, bidet. Bidet.

Tim / GM:

It seems we all survived.

Speaker 5:

That was quite a retreat. I was kinda worried about you. You just jumped off a bridge and

Tim / GM:

I've been airborne for 2 and a half hours.

Tara / Journey:

Fuck.

Speaker 7:

How was it up

Tim / GM:

there? Liberating.

Speaker 5:

Well, B' Dave, I I think we won. And, I can take you flying and every day if you really liked it.

Tim / GM:

Snack. I'd love nothing more. At the same time, you're all giggling over bidet and trying to fathom what had just happened when you hear, hey, buddy. We did it.

Speaker 5:

Who is this?

Tim / GM:

It's your old pal, Genie.

Speaker 5:

Genie, yes, we did it. This was the thing that this is why we were friends. Right?

Tim / GM:

That's right, Snack.

Speaker 5:

I see.

Tim / GM:

We gave it all we got.

Speaker 5:

Yes. And, yeah, we could do it again tomorrow too if we find any other curses. But we have a we have a castle and we have to build a flight, a dragon flight, one that is has good rules and no judges.

Tim / GM:

That sounds great, Snack. But I I gave it all I got. I'm sorry.

Speaker 5:

Well, no. That's that's okay. That's what we were supposed to do. Yes.

Tim / GM:

I'll make good on my deal, Snack. But that's my last trick as your genie.

Speaker 5:

Oh, you're not going to the east? That's where we are supposed to make our new home.

Tim / GM:

Snack, I can't make you a real dragon and stay around.

Speaker 9:

Do you

Speaker 5:

have a you're on flight and we have to be enemies? I I don't understand, Genie. I

Tim / GM:

He pops out of you one last time. He says, Snack, I started with a a lot of power, and then I met all of you. And I knew no matter how much power I gained, I'd never be enough to defeat Orzo Moja, because that's what he was trying to do. He was trying to gather power and do it all himself. The only reason we won, Snack, is because we didn't do that.

Tim / GM:

We didn't go it alone. But I had to give it everything, and I've I've got nothing left to give. If I'm gonna make good on my deal, this is how it has to be.

Speaker 5:

Genie, I I already have wings like this. Can I

Tim / GM:

keep But you're not a real dragon? It wasn't the deal.

Speaker 5:

I I am a real dragon. Genie, this is enough. Plus, you have to show me where the east is. I think I am what I sought to be now.

Tim / GM:

You're always going to be limited, Snack. They're always going to make fun of you. You're never going to be the almighty dragon you always wanted to be. It's always going to be you're always going to be Snack. I'm sorry.

Speaker 5:

I'm not. It's okay, Genie.

Tim / GM:

You'd rather have me around than be a dragon.

Speaker 5:

Of course. And if this is all you wanted, if you have your own life now, you can you can be in bidet then, if that's what you want. And I turned around and

Speaker 8:

I put my hands behind my back.

Speaker 5:

No. You if that's what you really want, you you don't have to be with snack anymore. You just stumbled upon snack and you can be immortal if that's what you want.

Tim / GM:

Genie moves through you and then comes out in front of you again and says, Snack, that's not what I want.

Speaker 5:

Don't let bidet hear that.

Tim / GM:

But they said, I can feel his power. Says, snack, do you mean it? Even if you can only be a dragon for a couple of minutes a day?

Speaker 8:

Only a couple of minutes? I thought it lasted longer than that.

Speaker 5:

Yes. Yes. This is all I want, Genie. I am happy with this. I have all the things I wanted and if all of this has shown me anything it's that I am a dragon.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. You are.

Speaker 5:

Oh. Hey, everybody. Your house still here. Yes.

Tara / Journey:
